About CASB Connect for Oracle HCM

CASB Connect for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) enables Security Operations Center (SOC) Admins to monitor user activity in the Oracle HCM application, and enforce DLP and CAP policies to review threats detected by Skyhigh CASB User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) and machine learning algorithms.

Skyhigh CASB for Oracle HCM provides the following use cases:

  • Enforces Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy for attachments to block sensitive data.
  • Activity Monitoring identifies login, file upload, and file download in the Oracle HCM app.
  • Contextual access control via CAP supports for both managed and unmanaged devices.

Prerequisites  

Make sure you have met the following prerequisites:

  • Activate the Offline DLP and Manageable icons checkbox in the registry for Oracle HCM CSP.
  • Add the following appropriate metadata in the registry for Oracle HCM CSP.

  • Modify and Delete actions are applicable for the above metadata in the registry.
  • The metadata may vary depending on the customer's original domain or access URL. 

Validate File Uploads and Downloads

To validate DLP and CAP policy for File Uploads and Downloads, perform the following activities:

File Uploads

To upload the file:

  1. Log in to the Homepage.
  2. Click the Menu icon and select HR Service Requests.
  3. Click Create Service Request.
  4. Under Create Service Request > Attachments, click the + icon and upload the file.
     

File Downloads

To download the uploaded file:

  1. Under Attachments, click the uploaded file, and the file downloads.
