Custom OAuth Application for Zoom

MVISION Cloud allows customers to connect to Zoom APIs through a custom application. For more details on OAuth creation, see Create an OAuth App documentation.

To create an OAuth Application for Zoom:

  1. Go to Zoom Marketplace
  2. Select Develop > Build App > OAuth
  3. On the Create an OAuth app page, configure the following:
    1. App Name. Enter the app name.
    2. Choose app type. Select Account-level app or User-managed app.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Go to Manage and select the app created in the Create an OAuth app page.
  6. Under App Credentials, configure these:
  7. Under Whitelist URL, enter the same URL as Redirect URL for OAuth.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Select Feature and click Add new event subscription.
  10. Under Event Subscriptions, configure these:

To get the tenantId and instanceId from MVISION Cloud, perform the following activities:

  1. Log in to MVISION Cloud and go to Settings > Service Management page.
  2. Select the managed Zoom instance and right-click the Inspect Element. You can find the InstanceId from the URL.
  3. Go to Network and click Command R or Control R to reload.
  4. Under Name, select the InstanceId and choose Response and navigate to right to get the tenantId.
  1. Under Event types, click Add Events.
  2. Select all Event types listed on the left pane. Follow the same for all the Event types listed. Click Done.
  3. Go to Scopes > Add Scopes.
  4. Select and add the required scopes. For example, if you want to add Meeting and Chat then select the respective scopes. Click Done.
  5. Select Activation and under Install your app, click Install.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click Authorize to grant the permissions requested.

Now you can define DLP policies and attach the policies to the Zoom instance.
