The exception rules prevent the creation of anomalies, deleting an exception rule resumes anomaly generation only from the point where the rule was deleted. It will not retroactively create anomalies that would have been generated during the time of exception rule.
To delete an Anomaly Exception:
- Go to Incidents > Anomalies > Anomaly Exceptions.
- Select the Exception Name that is to be deleted.
- Under Actions, click Delete Exception to permanently remove the exception from Threat Protection.
The deleted exception rules are removed from the Anomaly Exception table.
