About Email Templates
MVISION Cloud provides pre-configured Email Templates to produce email notifications. Users receive email notifications when specific response actions have occurred in association with a DLP Policy. You may customize pre-configured Email Templates to meet the needs of your organization. Email templates are modified by adding variables to the text.
You can create a Custom Email Template and link it to a DLP Policy.
And to prevent users from being overwhelmed by emails, you can configure an Email Summary to be sent at a specific interval, such as daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly.
To manage Email Templates, go to Policy > Policy Settings > Email Templates.
The Email Templates page provides the following information and functions:
- All Categories. Filter the table by Email Template category.
- All Types. Filter the table by an Email Template type.
- Create Email Template. Click to create a Custom Email Template.
- Template Name. Displays the name of the pre-configured Email Template, or the name that you give a Custom Email Template. Click the name of the template to edit the Email Template's content.
- Template Category. Displays the Email Template category: Data Loss Prevention, Configuration Audit, or Dashboard.
- Description. Displays the description of the pre-configured Email Template, or the description that you give a Custom Email Template.
- Last Modified By. Displays information on the user who last edited the template.
- Last Updated. Displays the date and time when the template was last edited.
