We're now McAfee MVISION Cloud!
You'll notice we're transitioning over to our new name in the UI and in all other areas of our product. MVISION Cloud is part of the McAfee MVISION Portfolio, which delivers consolidated management, back-end automation, and deep context to protect your data, thwart attacks, and mount a more efficient defense. Keep an eye on the MVISION family as we grow together.
Slack Enterprise Grid File-Only DLP
For users of Enterprise DLP, you can now secure files sent over Slack as attachments. This feature does not enforce any policies on the content in Slack messages; the focus is only on data sent as files.
DLP Scanning a Specific Bucket or Blob
When creating a DLP scan, you can include or exclude specific AWS accounts or Azure Subscriptions to limit the scan scope. So, if you have multiple AWS accounts and/or Azure subscriptions and many storage resources (S3 buckets and/or Blobs) to scan, you have the flexibility to choose specific policies for certain resources. Also, you can create multiple scans to automatically include new buckets when they are added to the account and avoid scanning same bucket multiple times.
S3 Block Public Access
AWS introduced Amazon S3 Block Public Access protection changes that works at the account level and also on individual buckets, and affects those that will be created in the future. Added rules to existing Publicly Writable S3 Buckets to accommodate changes made by AWS. Rule added: “Remove public access granted through public ACLs for the account = No”
Update to Quarantine Management
Quarantine Management has been updated. As part of this change, Quarantined Files are now available for analysis and manual remediation action via the Policy > Policy Incidents page. For details, see Items in Quarantine.
On the Incidents > Policy Incidents page, in the Details pane, you can now add notes to your incidents. Each note added is visible separately below the Notes field. For notes that you have added, you can Edit or Delete them. For notes written by other users, you may only view them. The default limitation is 10 notes per incidents, and 300 characters per note. For details, see Policy Incidents Details.
On the Incidents > Policy Incidents page, in the Details pane, the Incident History section lists any changes made, (such as changed owner, status, response, or notes), the name of the user who made the change, and the time and date that change occurred. For details, see Policy Incidents Details.
Use Send Email Template with more Response Actions
For DLP Policies, the Send Email Template option is now available for more Response Actions including Quarantine, Delete, Block Email, and more. For details, see Link an Email Template to a DLP Policy.
