5.0.2 Release Notes (April 2020)

Near Real-Time DLP Scan and Malware Scan for Azure

Skyhigh CASB provides Near Real-Time (NRT) DLP and Malware detection capability for Azure blob storage. This feature significantly reduces the time to find new DLP and Malware violations in blob storage by detecting file creation or modification events in almost real-time and evaluating associated DLP and Malware policies. For details, see Near Real-Time DLP Scan and Malware Scan for Azure.

Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)

Skyhigh CASB Container Security now supports Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS). AKS uses the Kubernetes policy templates listed in Policy Templates for Container Security. For details, see Configure Configure Container Security for AKS.

Restricted Apps

On the Connected Apps page, you can restrict access implicitly to users or user groups. For individual users, you can add them to a restriction manually or with a dictionary. For details, see Restricted Apps

Data Retention Update

The Skyhigh CASB default data retention period has changed from 90 days to 100 days. Beginning with Skyhigh CASB 5.0.2, the data retention policy (100 days or 12 months, if you purchased the 12-month data retention plan) is applied for the incidents displayed on the Policy Incidents summary and page. As a result, you may see fewer incidents displayed on the Policy Incidents pages compared to previous versions. Policy Incident retention policy is applied using the incident modified date.

File Path/Folder ID Collaboration

In the File/Folder collaboration policy, the File Path/Folder ID options is available only for Box users. This DLP collaboration monitors and triggers the sensitive information or violations in the files that are uploaded in the configured folders or file path. For details, see File Path/Folder ID Collaboration.

User Groups Collaboration

On the DLP Policy page, To field supports the User Group collaboration to add specific groups of users within your organization. For details, see Collaboration.

Export and Import Proxy Properties for Service Instances

On the Service Management page, you can select a service instance to export and import proxy properties to other service instances. For details, see Export and Import Proxy Properties for Service Instances.

New Data Centers

New Skyhigh CASB data centers (POP's) locations are now available. For details, see MVISION Cloud Data Centers.

Chart Second Dimensions for Custom Attributes

In a chart, you can select a second dimension for custom attributes. Select Permission Type or Risk Type. For details, see Services Overview

Container Vulnerability Scan Policy

A container vulnerability scan policy determines the vulnerabilities that should be included or excluded from an incident. For details on creating a CVE scan policy, see Container Vulnerability Scan Policy.

Primary User in MVISION Cloud Tenant

A Primary User is the associated email address registered during the tenant creation. The Primary User is the main point of contact for upgrades and ordering for all Skyhigh Security services. For details, see Primary User in MVISION Cloud Tenant.
