Enable Access to the Web Policy Code View

An administrator must enable access to the web policy code view for you. If you have suitable administrator rights, you can do it yourself.

  1. Log on to Skyhigh CASB as an administrator who has permission to manage users.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the My Dashboard page that appears and use the drop-down menu to navigate to User Management > Users.
  3. Grant web policy code permissions to a user:
    1. Select the checkbox next to this user. Then select Edit Roles from the Actions drop-down menu on the right.
NOTE: You can also be this user and grant permissions to yourself.
    2. On the Edit User page, click Edit next to Policy Management to show the management options.
    3. You can also click the checkbox twice to show these options.
    4. Scroll down to the Web Policy Code — For advanced users option and select the checkbox next to it. Make sure the left part of the double checkbox at the end of the row is selected to appear in green (indicating Manage status).
This allows the user to modify the code. If you only want to grant this user read permission, click either part of the double checkbox to let Read Only appear.
  4. Click Save.

You have now enabled access to the web policy code view for the user that you selected. If the user that you selected is not someone else, but you, you need to log off and on again to let the enabling take effect.

The user that you enabled can go to any of the web policy pages of the user interface and switch to the code view.
