Web Access Data for Storage and Reporting

Log data residency

To comply with your organization or region's data residency requirements, you can configure the geographic regions where your web access data is stored and used for reporting. The following terms are used to describe geographic regions in a data residency context:

• Connection region — Geographic region where your organization connects to one or more points of presence where Skyhigh Security filters web requests. You might have connections to points of presence in multiple geographic regions. The connection regions are:
  • Asia Pacific
  • Europe
  • North America
  • Latin America
  • Africa
• Storage and reporting region — Geographic region where the web access data is stored and used for reporting. You can configure one storage region for each connection region. The storage regions are:
  • North America
  • Europe
  • United Kingdom
  • Singapore
  • United Arab Emirates
  • India
  • Australia

The data residency settings apply to logs, but not to the following:

• Internal operational logs that Skyhigh Security maintains for security and legal compliance
• Data that Technical Support accesses for troubleshooting purposes
• Integrations that you configure with other products

Permissions

You need Administrator | Setup & Configuration permissions to access the setup UI and configure the log data residency settings.
