About Configuring Mobile Cloud Security

Skyhigh Mobile Cloud Security (MCS) allows you to include mobile devices among the endpoints that are protected by Secure Web Gateway.

Web traffic is then routed from these devices to Secure Web Gateway through a secure tunnel using a VPN gateway that separates the Mobile Cloud Security infrastructure from Secure Web Gateway and the Internet.

A certificate issued by a certificate authority (CA) is required to set up and run the secure tunnel. The mobile devices are managed using a Mobile Device Management (MDM) product.

To configure this solution for Secure Web Gateway and mobile devices, you need to complete these tasks:

• Upload a CA certificate to Secure Web Gateway, see Upload CA Certificates.

• Configure Mobile Device Management for the mobile devices, see Adding Mobile Devices to Protected Endpoints.
