Troubleshoot Issues with Synchronized Lists in the Hybrid Solution

When issues with downloading synchronized lists occur in the Hybrid solution, you can review connection traces and log files.

  1. On the user interface for the Secure Web Gateway on-prem product, select Configuration > Appliances.

  2. Enable connection tracing on an appliance.

    1. Expand the appliance tree and then the appliance where you want to enable connection tracing, for example, mwgappl20937901.

    2. Under this appliance, select Troubleshooting.

    3. Under Troubleshooting in the configuration pane on the right, select Enable tracing for UCE list synchronization.

  3. Select the Troubleshooting top-level menu.

  4. Expand the appliance tree and then the appliance where you have enabled connection tracing.

  5. Review connection traces.

    1. Under the appliance that you have expanded, select Connection tracing.

    2. Under Connection Tracing on the right, click the tab with the appliance name.

      The update folder with the trace files appears.

    3. Double-click the folder to open it and access the trace files, for example, UCE-000000-S.txt.

  6. Review log files.

    1. Under the appliance that you have expanded, select Log files.

    2. Under Log Files on the right, click the tab with the appliance name.

    3. Double-click the audit folder and then the ucehybrid folder to open it and access the log files, for example, ucehybrid.log.
