About Replacing a Disk
Replacing a disk differs depending on the various appliance models.
The procedure is described in the following for the model E appliances. For information regarding other models, see the vendor documentation.
These devices are provided on a model E appliance to support you in performing the replacement:

mwg-raid tool — Allows you to run commands for removing a disk from RAID volumes and for restoring it
- LEDs — Are located on the disks to support the replacement procedure by showing different blinking codes
