Additional Network Interface Cards
More network interfaces with ports can be added to the WBG-5000-F and WBG-5500-F appliance models by installing the following types of network interface cards (NICs):

Fiber network interface card with four network interfaces providing ports and short-range transceivers

Fiber network interface card with four network interfaces providing ports and long-range transceivers
- Copper network interface card with two network interfaces providing ports
The cards can be installed in slots on the rear of an appliance. In the diagram here below, they are marked as A1 and A2:
Installation options differ with regard to the two appliance models. The number of network interfaces and ports can be increased from four to eight on WBG-5000-F and from four to twelve on WBG-5500-F.
