About Upgrading the Appliance Software with a Disk Tool

The appliance software on a Secure Web Gateway appliance can be upgraded using the mwg-edisk tool, which writes a software image to an embedded hardware device. 

The upgrade can be performed for the model E and F appliances, which are equipped with suitable devices.

The tool is available if the Secure Web Gateway software version you are running on an appliance is 8.2.8 or higher.
