About Updating the Appliance Software with a Disk Tool

The appliance software on a Web Gateway appliance can be updated using a tool that writes a software image to an embedded hardware device.

The update can be performed for the model E appliances, which are equipped with suitable devices.

The following tool is provided for this update:

• mwg-edisk tool — Allows you to write an ISO image to an embedded device on a model E appliance
