About Updating the Appliance Software with a Disk Tool

The appliance software on a Secure Web Gateway appliance can be updated using the mwg-edisk tool, which writes a software image to an embedded hardware device. 

The update can be performed for the model E appliances, which are equipped with suitable devices.

The tool is available if the software version you are running on an appliance is Secure Web Gateway 8.2.8 or higher.
