About HTTP Proxy

This type of proxy is configured to cover web traffic going on under HTTP. It is configured by default on a Secure Web Gateway appliance.

HTTP is a protocol that is widely used for transferring web pages and other data. Connections for data transfer can also be SSL-secured.
